Now, at the insistence of the chancellor, Alistair Darling, swingeing cuts are on the agenda, along with the new buzz word of aspiration at the insistence of Mandelson, a man who still harks back to 1997 and the glory days of Tony Blair and his passage into Downing Street on the back of middle England."

well yes and no. I disagree with the criticism of Darling. Money needs to be found, so some unpleasant realities may need to be faced.
But otherwise pretty fair actually
