The IPL have now added a new 15 minutes of advert breaks into their matches:

I hate adverts at the best of times, so this has just driven me up the bloomin wall. I know that football has considered having a mid-half advert break but luckily sense prevailed. But honestly, ffs (as the kids say)

Be grateful you don't watch in India. They obviously squeeze adds between every single over, so sometimes we miss the first ball of the next one (actually it's bad enough just missing the bowler run-up, that's part of the action too, any true follower of the game would know) but nowadays they put adverts between each ball! ffs indeed.

Thanks for the comment. I agree, I like watching the bowler running in rather than having my attention wrenched away to an advert all the time.
Bring back cricket on the BBC! (more on this to follow)
