Personally, I think we (Labour) are unpalatable for various reasons. The Tories are/would be disastrous.

I prefer to see politics as the triumph of pragmatism over cynicism.
I saw something very worrying recently, with post to follow.
A video of Sarah Palin supporters, one of them said that only people who are wrong should compromise, those who are right don't compromise.
I'm a big fan of compromise, goes with pragmatism, which i'm all in favour of.
